me
AshleyRenee is a Queer Haitian hair artist from Brooklyn, New York. They are the founder and creative director of ROWS by Renèe. Miss Renèe expresses Rows as a movement within the Afro-diaspora embracing Afro hair and it’s art forms. Flowing, shrunken, buzzed, loc’d, swaying, or defying gravity. Styling Crowns from all over the diaspora ; African, Carribean, African-American, Afro-Latino and enhancing Crowns one style at a time. Rows started as a Black Hair series and turned to a movement for the activist and hairstylist . To challenge beauty standards, love all parts of us, take in our abundance of beauty , versitality, uniqueness, and doing so unapologetically.

The campaign shoot for Mea Culpa was a joy to style because I got to work with different textures all in a day with a total of 4 models ranging from curly to straight.
